Dr. Madson is a fantastic surgeon and physician in every way
Dr Madsen is very personable with an attention to detail. He listens intently to your issues and makes recommendations that would be best for you as opposed to other doctors I've been to that make recommendations that appear to be best for them and their practice.
Dr. Madsen is a wonderful back surgeon. He is very knowledgeable and experienced plus very kind. He takes the time to explain things well and listen. Would recommend him to anyone.
As soon as he walked in the room, I could tell he actually cared about me. I am positive that he would have liked to offer me some different alternative solutions to surgery, but I trust him to do what is best. I like that he performs both laminoplasty and disc removal options. This can be rare and is important I think because he is free to offer either for his patients instead of always pushing for removal. I will update my review after surgery but I feel listened to, well advised, and confident in his abilities.
Dr. Madsen performed my lumbar laminectomy and he made sure I understood all of my care options to make sure I made the best decision for me. He truly cares for his patients and isn’t just trying to make money. His goal is to make you whole again. His bedside manner is one of the best!
Unfortunately, I'm no stranger to surgeries, but I've also been very fortunate to have found really good surgeons, Dr. Madsen is definitely one of them. Besides being highly trained and experienced, he was also very thorough in determining what if any surgical procedure(s) might be necessary. Just the same, surgery wasn't the first or only option that was discussed regarding treatment for my spine issues.
