Having owned well-trained dogs all my life, I joined Midwest Dog Training in 2007 to team up with the founder. Having good success with Midwest Dog Training’s system, I decided to dedicate my livelihood to training dogs. Since I purchased it in 2009, I have successfully trained well over 2,000 dogs. We sent our GSD/Rotti mix Abby to MDT for the three-week course. She was about 14 weeks old and came back a new dog. Calm, attentive, eager to learn, and everything that we would want in a great companion dog. We had put off training due to expense and me thinking I could do it myself. Turns out I could have gone from problem behaviors to awesome two years ago. Both are dogs are now focus on what we want out of them instead of what they want. This is an investment in your family and worth the separation. They also spend a few hours with you at drop off and provide lifetime support over the phone if you need help down the line. Thanks for the dogs we wanted but couldn’t achieve on our own.
