We have used Mike and Cornerstone Home Lending for multiple purchases and refinances. Mike is incredibly helpful, with running the numbers and looking at our options. I cannot say enough good about Mike and Cornerstone! We tried to do an assumption through my wife's lender to keep the interest rate (something like 3.875%) It was a nightmare... they'd keep re-requesting the same docs, go for weeks with no communication and then tell us they were going to shut the process down because they didn't have a document we'd just sent to them, etc. Finally, we gave up and called Mike. Mike is fantastic. He is very thorough and detail oriented and that is exactly what you need when refinancing. He helped us through the process and we felt confident that we knew what was happening. He was extremely patient with all of my questions and never seemed bothered when I called or emailed him with questions.
