I was almost 100% convinced I was going to buy a Mini Cooper as my next car. I made an appointment for a test drive, and was told that, while they didn't have the 2-door model I wanted in the manual transmission, they did have a 4-door. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told (a) they did NOT have a manual (other than the S) for me to test, and (b) the salesman was actually in the middle of helping other people (which begs the question: why make an appointment?!).
