When I was first offered this service after being hospitalized, I was thrilled. Not having to cook for 4 weeks when ill is a good thing, especially since my husband doesn't cook at all. But, upon trying the service, I was no longer thrilled; heck I was beyond dismayed. There are a few meals that are almost ok, but most are not. I contacted Mom's Meals regarding the meals going bad prior to the use by date. They assured me that this was not the usual case and they replaced the damaged meals, Thank You,
This company is despicable! They are discriminating against my handicapped mother on many levels. Rude staff (screaming at my timid mother) sending food that has become rancid, sending food to neighbors address, lying on the phone, condescending staff that clearly don't care one iota about the elderly or handicapped community that they supposedly care so much for. They say their food is healthy but sadly it is far from it. The peanut butter has sugar and starch fillers, steak and peppers had one piece of pepper the size of my baby fingernail. The desserts particularly the berry sauces are cloyingly sweet. The list of chemicals in each item is longer than the list of actual food. All highly processed. I got a box of 10 meals through my insurance for free. Not worth it for free.

I received Mom's Meals last week. I have tried at least five of the meals and could not eat them. The sight, smell and taste was unappealing. I called Mom's Meals and told them and not to deliver anymore meals. They informed me this was the one and only time to receive the meals, good thing.
