TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Good food, decent service had fun with my friends. Cauliflower sliders are my favorite dish on the menu.
It is my first time to dine here. It was an absolute surprise for a chicken meal ! The chicken is not dry. Fries are good too! Service is great, Janelle is the lady in the counter, its only her third day but she works well and communicates well with us ! First time and... won't be the last!! I'm not a hugeeeee got chicken gal though I still enjoy the crunch and spice but it's my partner that loveeees hot chicken like it's a genre of food! During lunch hour on a weekday, I need to order something that is quick and portable in case I have to go back to work! Dave's hot chicken was super convenient and the ordering kiosk helps make my choices more easier. I ordered a couple things for a quick lunch get together: non spicy just in case we share for the toddler and I don't really want to eat spicy Dave #2 Two Chicken sliders (non spicy) with cheese fries subbing the regular side. Normally I don't eat fast food because I am pescatarian, but my son is on this veggie/vegan kick and convinced me to try the cauliflower slider and it was actually really good. I am pretty sure the coating is not vegan and the sauce isn't either so don't try if you are vegan. You can also ask that they fry the cauliflower in oil separately from the chicken which I thought was amazing because some fast food places fry it all in one and that's not cool for us vegetarians. Cashier lady was very nice and helpful, and upsold me on some cheese fries. We both got medium spice, their French fries have a really nice tasting seasoning on it. My wife and I really liked them. Sauce is like a1000 island type taste to me, they also passed us honey ketchup and extra sauce, we used the honey and sauce which cooled a little heat. Medium spice isn't very hot for those worried or who don't do spice well, we'll probably do the hot next time.

ordered the dave Not chicken today since its back and OH MY GOD its better than the first time it came out !! definitely recommend for anyone who doesnt eat meat! i was so surprised with how fast they finished everything i ordered! the service was amaIng and the environment was a 10/10! definitely coming back to this location :)
