The people who transported my vehicle made a trip to pick up a payment and ended up on a two lane road going downhill and 8 deer ran in front of them. They slammed on brakes to avoid a collision with the deer and they braked so hard the fully restored beautiful 1969 442 Olds convertible broke lose from the tiedowns. It slammed hard into the nose of the enclosed trailer and damaged the whole front of the car. I shipped my car booked through Motoway. After speaking with an agent, I told him I will have four boxes with books and other kitchen stuff in the car. He increased the price by $100 which was for carrier because of the extra weight to compensate the fuel usage. I agreed with the increase as this was reasonable and right thing to do. I was given a final quote totaling $1649, with $229 for Motoway booking fee by credit card charge, and $1420 for carrier at delivery by cashier's check.
