Jeremy always does an awesome job with my clients. The reason I put him down as a 4 on the responsiveness is because sometimes his assistant will call me back, but it is always very quickly either by Jeremy or his staff.
Our experience with Mortgage Investors Group was marred by several issues, leading to a negative outcome that prompted us to choose another lender. Initially, agreeing to work with them resulted in a barrage of irrelevant sales and marketing spam inundating my email account, which, despite their apologies, was distracting and unprofessional during the already challenging process of home purchase. Submitted all my paperwork to Dave. Didn't hear anything from him at all for one week, responded no answer. Two weeks later no response. Email again no response. Month later I contacted the office and there excuse was he was out sick with covid. Mortgage rates changed by almost an whole point. I will never ever work with this bunch. Don't even believe there excuse.

The beginning of our home search and mortgage approval went well. Beth was great, she kept us up to date. When put an offer on the first house, and it was accepted, we found out after our inspection (which was performed within a week of our offer being accepted) that they had already done an appraisal. Basically the inspection came back bad so we decided to pull our offer. I never knew i was allowed to pick my own lender when buying a home. Id never done this before ( bought a home). But, Gary acted and treated my husband and i like we should have known what to do and all of the steps taken in home buying. If i knew i could, i would have fired him from the moment I first spoke with him. He put his small jobs( faxing, paperwork, etc.)off on other people to take care of. That is fine. Takes 30 minutes to get someone on the phone and when you do, they are useless in helping you. They refer you to the website. VERY unhappy with the service side of this company. Its like trying to connect with and communicate with the IRS.

I was a first time home buyer which means guidance is key. Everything went relatively well (jumping through all of the hoops and getting through the red tape of the paperwork process) until it came down to the down payment - there was a gift situation where Jeff left out the MOST important guidance of all - which resulted in not being able to close the loan. As the title states, words nearly elude me as to what to say about this company and loan officer. To start, how she words things needs to be worked on. Secondly, I wonder if she may be new to the business as things blindsided us on a regular basis. First we are told we are approved for a loan, "go out and find yourself a house!" Next we're told we have to get a ton of paperwork to even be approved.
