Awesome place and easy gym to get in and out. Great location and perfect amount of equipment to get in a good pump. Staff is friendly and if you're looking to join, get in contact with Chris Custer. He'll make your first visit easy and accommodating.
I love coming here. The kids area For the last couple of months I have seen them clean , the workers are clean , they communicate and they are very friendly. The girls are very caring and helpful. With 3 kids I forget things all the time and they have reminded me and my son loves coming here the kids are friendly to him and I never experienced any issues. I just joined this gym about three weeks ago and I love it! The gym is always clean and not too crowded. The classes are the best part for me. So far I have only done Zumba and High Fitness and they are great workouts. I want to try the Muscle class next. The front staff is very friendly and helpful too. I really appreciate how no one tries to come up to to and sell you on personal training, but it's available if you need it.

We moved from the YMCA to Mountainside because of the amazing customer service and attention to detail for new members. But what keeps us coming back is the amazing trainer my husband and I have been working with for the past month - Mario. Mario is very detailed, focused, and cares about implementing a plan custom made for each of us. I signed up first, and my husband was upset with me because of the added expense. Staff is very nice and helpful! I love the stretch room, allows me to work out in peace due to the huge space!
Equipment is decent. However, they need to focus way more on cleanliness. The men's locker room is disgusting. With the amount of elderly people I see here, I'm surprised that no one has slipped and fallen. Puddles of water on the floor in all of the stalls.
Today I need to give a HUGE shout out to Mountainside staff member TRENT! My man! I left a shaving kit in the locker room with several hundred dollars worth of items in it. I searched and couldn't find it. Trent took my name, and sure enough he went above and beyond, searched every locker and found it! Yay! Saved me a lot of time and money.
