Below is the email explaining my experience Taylor, I received this email today. After my experience I would have to say that this description sadly is incorrect. The daycare area did not seem clean in the slightest. I sat for a while with my child, and upon seeing some of the toys, questioned whether they had ever been cleaned. Seems management has lately decided to pay attention to the bean counters instead of the needs of their members. Use it or lose it classes have commenced. If they don't get enough attendance, they cancel the class. Likely to save a few dollars on the instructor. The facility sits empty. So if this class is convenient for you when you join - it may not be in a week. Buyer beware!!! Nice facility and I love the yoga class here :) A little pricey but the children's center is top notch !!! My baby loves the play room. Makes working out easier when I can watch her on the TV screens on every treadmill.
We have been coming here for a few months now. Before signing up here we were at another gym with the initials PF. Sure it was cheap there but you get what you pay for, crowded machines and very little free weights. I like mountainside because there are classes that the wife likes and i will join her for some of them. I like the cardiovascular because they all have tv's. It's just not worth it. I've been a member with mountainside for a couple years and kept our membership after we moved from Anthem to Mesa. Let's just say this is a severally neglected location especially in comparison with the Peoria gym which has a waterfall and nice tile all around the gym. Also the equipment at the Greenfield location breakdown constantly, in fact I'm pretty sure all the stair steppers have been broken at least 4 times each. This here is a pretty sub par gym. Its pretty small and most of their equipment seems to be fairly old. No one seems to really care at this gym, either. Some gyms you go to and they have smiling, friendly staff members who value your membership with them. Other gyms don't seem to care if you're a member or not, and make it obvious. This Mountainside Fitness is the latter.
I am irritated with the customer service. I have called customer service and put in hold forever or they pick up and hang up on me. I canceled my membership and was asked for a copy of my cancel form, what kind of incompetent people run this place where they don't have a copy of documentation or have it to access.
There are many fitness centers, personal business should be earned; they lack that good customer service. Had my 10 day pass been there once and not coming back there ever!
