Love the facility. Staff is great. Being able to always get a smoothly right after workout is a big plus as well. Only knock I could possibly give is I wish it was 24 hrs. Great facility, highly recommend.

We canceled our gym membership via phone in 9/2019. At the time we were told that our membership was canceled. However they continued to charge us monthly membership fee for the next 1.5 years under an account we do not normally use until we noticed the charge recently. When we called to question the unauthorized charge, the representative told us the first time that the cancellation needed to be process in person and pulled up computer records that we were informed of such policy at the time....so someone obviously lied. Beware!! Mask mandate is not enforced. When pressured, staff will go out onto floor and ask violators to abide. As soon as staff turns their back, the masks come right off again. Few people comply. They need to boot these selfish people if they won't keep their mask on. If someone lit up a cigarette in there everyone would lose their sh*t. But second hand smoke would be a lot less deadly than the virus particles that these asymptomatic douches are huffing out while doing their reps. Michele Nuanez in the membership department was amazing. She explained all the membership details very clearly so I knew what I was getting. My first experience with Mountain Side was not a good one. I was treated really poorly at another location and was actually going to cancel my membership and go back to LA Fitness. I went into this location and was treated above and beyond GREAT. I have since cancelled my LA Fitness membership due to Michelle!! This women is on it! She is always cleaning, helping members or her staff. I have yet to see this women not doing anything, it's very impressive how much she is always doing. Her customer service is top notch. Wouldn't recommend this location at all. I got a month to month membership right before they closed down due to Covid. I sent a letter to them to cancel my membership and they never received it due to the post office losing it. I went in and spoke with Tyler a manger there and he refused to refund me a month of my membership. Point is I paid over 80 bucks for 2 months and was only able to work out 3-4 times. Worst customer service ever.

Signed up for this gym to support them because they were staying open and not forcing everyone to wear mask while working out. 2 days later the governor shut them down and they froze my account. Ok, that's fine. Not their fault. Now they're open again, but requiring everyone to wear masks while working out. Whatever they want but not for me. However, they told me they can no longer keep my account frozen because they are open. I'd be happy to keep my membership as long as I'm not paying until I can go without a mask again. Please be careful if considering joining this location. I signed up my teenage boys May 18th. The gym closed (by governor's orders) approximately a month later. I was just charged $108. I called and spoke to someone (who was very polite) and she explained those were yearly membership dues and I should have been explained that while joining.
