Great local gym with friendly staff and members. Equipment is recently reupholstered. Isn't oversubscribed so you can always get in and knock out your workout. Bathrooms are clean and nice.

Mountainside Fitness is an amazing gym! I have been a member at the Greenfield and Brown, Mesa location for years now and I will forever stay! All of the locations are wonderful and inviting. However, I have noticed that specifically the Mesa MSF staff is extremely hard working, kind, and professional. This club is always kept clean and the gym equipment is organized. its been a year since my last review and a lot has changed... Mountainside fitness has changed the management here and the new dude tyler is actually a really good dude. Hes up front, honest but tries to help as much as he can. Front counter has always been amazing. As soon as you leave you get greeted and scanned in quickly which is nice! Also, 99% of the time as i leave I get a "thanks for coning in" which goes a long way. Overall staff is amazing! I've referred many of my friends and co workers to this gym. As with all new members when they sign up, we review all points in the membership agreement and require initials and/signature to assure that the member is aware of what they are signing. Our Enrollment process consists in 7 initials and a signature to ensure every fee, date and logistic is reviewed and agreed upon. I love mountainside fitness as a gym, but this one is my absolute least favorite. I come in here to play basketball and workout but inside the basketball gym it's to cold to do both. One thermostat is set to 59 and the other is set to 60, I feel like I have to come to this gym wearing a fur jacket and some gloves. This needs to be fixed. Instead of being in a sauna I feel like I'm in a icebox.
Overall I really like Mountainside Fitness gyms. My home gym is Mesa and love the daycare. The gym is nice and is always clean. The only reason I dont give this Mountainside five stars is because the other Mountainside have much nicer equipment. Everyone at the Mesa gym pays the same as the Gilbert gym, but they have more equipment and newer. I am mostly talking about assault bikes!!!

This place is basically a second home for me now. The gym is always so clean and the atmosphere is always so warm and inviting. Towel service is such a great thing to have here especially since very very few gyms offer it. The management here cares about the gym and it does feel like its always currently being updated!! (not to the point of where it would have to shut down for a day or anything-just to clarify, they are really good about doing maintenance either at after hours or when it wouldn't distract anybody). Great place to go. Friendly staff. Clean. I'd give one more star if they would find a way to stay open on Holidays that not everyone celebrates in the same way in the evenings. It seems that they almost look for excuses to close early. Christmas - I get it. 4th of July - Not getting the reason to close early here! How about giving overtime for a staff member to stay and work until regular closing hours? Or look for a volunteer - perhaps someone isn't planning on partying tonight and then the members can get their workout don... read more

My trainer Toni is the best! She is super motivating! And every workout I do with her I'm always sore !!! This gym is clean and everyone that works here is nice! Kids care is open 12 hours on the weekdays and there is cameras to watch your little ones while you work out!
