We had been using a very good lender that we'd used for our last house, but I was looking for better terms due to that lender disclosing well into the process higher than expected underwriting and processing fees, a slightly higher rate than I wanted, and the need to pay points to keep a good rate -- and we were just 15 days from closing! I called MOM just to inquire if it was possible to change lenders, and Kim said they could do it. With Kim Shuey and MOM I got far better rates (-.75%!!), NONE of those $$$ fees...and much... read more
