“The tree I received was fine, but it had been topped and another part had been removed at the bottom. I wasn't sure that was appropriate but was informed by someone that shipped trees are topped to fit in the box and that, at a young age, that should be fine. So I planted the tree within a few days after receiving it, even though it was really hot that week. “Three of the lilacs arrived in a timely fashion. The fourth one was about five weeks later. The fourth one had mold on the leaves and misshapen leaves. I called and you requested pictures which I sent to your horticulturist who said the mold was from the packaging. The mold has continued to grow on the plant. I am hoping that this is only a temporary issue.”
