Something has changed We have used this brand of filter for 10 summers since we have had our pool installed. We returned from a weekend away with our recently replaced pool pump sounding odd. Went to check and found that the top of this filter had blown off causing our pool water to drop and our new pump to run dry. Not happy at all. Have contacted seller and will be contacting the manufacturer. Will never buy this brand again!
Item blew apart after about 4 weeks. Product worked for about 4 weeks then blew apart. I thought I'll put it back together and I did. Two weeks later same thing then again 2 weeks later. It almost drained my pool because I wasn't home. I contacted seller. They said sorry not our responsibility and sent me a couple of manufacturers links that no longer exist. I won't use this seller again

Filter exploded Have purchased many filters but the recent filter broke apart and sent the pellets all over the pool pump station. Hoping to get a replacement as I paid over $130 for this part
Product blew apart Wow, been buying these for 10 years. This one purchased in spring and after 30 days the top blew off and the pool lost water. Hopefully I caught it before any damage to my new pool pump as the pump was running dry when I discovered it. Not good. Malfunction after 3 hours--problems with refund DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT OR SELLER!! Read the other 1-star reviews. Top of unit blew off after 3 hours of operation scattering the little balls everywhere. After cleaning everything up and repackaging for return WHICH I HAD TO PAY (~$11). Product delivered to company 7 days delivery to us. Waited 6 business days to contact on refund status. The company is now not dealing with me in a straight-forward manner on refund. Will post updates.
Dirty Looked like it had been used before. This is the second one that we have gotten like this.
Exploded Zero stars if I could. Blew the lid. Glad I was home to address this. Waste of money.
Sold a defective item and would not ship a replacement. The media could not be loaded. Seller would not ship a replacement for the defective item that was leaking water from the top, until they received this defective one back in the mail. The problem is that that course of action would have left my pool inoperable until the seller received the defective one, and then shipped a replacement.
