Selling used cartridges? Bought this from In The Swim Pool Supplies. The mineral cartridge appeared to be used when I originally unpacked it. There is nothing sealing to tell it was new. The threaded connection at the bottom was dirty and looked just like my year old used filter. The remaining media inside looked the same, too.

It works Installed this 5 months ago and it definitely works. During the cool season here in North Texas I sometimes let my chorine lapse and then comes the algae. After installing this and waiting about a month, I tested the effectiveness of the Nature2 by letting the chlorine level drop to almost zero and no algae grew. I'm sold and am ordering the second cartridge tonight.

We purchased this from amazon as a replacement to our ... We purchased this from amazon as a replacement to our existing cartridge. When looking at the new model, it had a clear plastic top and I checked to make sure the model numbers were the same (and they were). We changed out the cartridge and it seemed to be working. Make sure the top is screwed on tight.. danger of exploding!! The cartridge works.. however.... sometimes the top of the cartridge is loose... not screwed on tight. I have had two cartridges explode in operation scattering all the chemicals inside. This has happened to me in the last year.. so the quality standards are going down.. buyer beware. I have been using the nature2 cartridge for over 9 years, never had a problem until recently
mixed review This is the second one I have purchased. First one worked great. This one , however, blew its top off , causing water to pour out at an alarming rate. Thankfully I was home and heard it, otherwise would have drained my pool and probably burned pump out eventually. I was able to reattach the top and wrapped in duct tape until I can get replacement.
Defective and Junk Item I bought Nature2 Express Mineral Cartridge less two months ago and installed it in my pool. I have been using Nature2 cartridges for more than 4 years, but this time I noticed that it was not working as before and the pool walls were turning yellow even after adding same amount of Chlorine as before. Last Saturday the Nature2 broke and came out causing a huge water drain. This caused me immense problem and the pool became unusable. I am sure the product that was delivered was defective.
Crystal clear. I stand by this product. This product reduces the amount of chlorine and keeps the water crystal clear.
The product delivered has been changed from the product that ... The product delivered has been changed from the product that I used to get. The top piece, which had been made of a hard transparent plastic is now a much softer opaque plastic. Shortly after it was installed, after cleaning my filter and restarting the pump, a slight (but not unusual) burst of pressure came through and blew the top piece out scattering the beads. This never happened with the old design.
