The anticipation was great going into the proceedure, and the process exceeded by expectations. I showed up 10am and had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and back on the way home in around 45 minutes. I had no insurance and the fee for services seemed reasonable. They came highly recomended from my mother, so I didn't check anywhere else. This experience was better than I thought, I put off doing this for years and wish I had done it earlier.
I was referred to Neal Oral and Maxillofacial by my dentist, and now I know why. Wonderful staff and gorgeous facility (I went to the office in North Seattle). I had my wisdom teeth out on Friday morning (three total) and the procedure went perfectly- I am healing quickly and I've barely experienced any pain. The doctor called Friday night to check up on me, and someone else called this morning (it's Monday)- they're very attentive to their patients and I'm simply amazed by how well this whole procedure went for me. Since they moved to their new place, it is absolutley amazing, it kind of reminds me of a swanky place when you walk in, flat screen tv, with their own bottled water in a fridge. I have seen Dr Neal since i was little and he is always very professional, and his staff is amazing.
Don't get any treatment here if you are an immigrant whose English is not perfect, because you are going to get insulted by Dr. Leonard. During our 5min consultation, she spent 4min confirming whether I need an interpreter for my surgery, just because I've never heard of "nitrous" and I asked her to explain. She asked me if I have any friend who can speak better English and i should bring them to the surgery. Like wtf? It's also quite hard to understand Dr. Leonard as she has heavy accent herself. These neanderthals decided to rip out all four of my wife's wisdom teeth leaving massive holes in her jaw using absolutely impatient doctors and inferior nursing staff. My son had a cyst removed and extraction of wisdom teeth by Dr. Neal. The experience could not have been better. Before we even came in, we received a video Dr. Neal made personally for my son to watch regarding what to expect, what was going to happen and how to prepare for the sedation. My visit for tooth extraction was one of the more unusual experiences I have had with a medical services provider. Neal, Leonard and Sorensen (NLS) runs the gamut, from the highs to the lows, with everything settling into a mostly middle experience. NLS is a factory disassembly and assembly line. If you like a lot of hand-holding, NLS/Kirkland is not for you. On the other hand, if you would prefer an impersonal, conveyor belt approach, this office may be more your style. Just wanted to say how impressed I was with the office staff and Dr. Kyle Sorensen. The procedure I underwent was my first using anesthesia and I was a bit apprehensive. The medical assistants were understanding and comforting and it was over in no time. Dr. Sorensen just has one of those great personalities you like to see in someone in the medical and dental fields. Great job everyone, no surprises!
Just had surgery by Dr. Sorensen. Day after, feels almost like no surgery, even though it involved 4 sites. Easy to communicate with. Capable and likable surgical assistant. Nitrous oxide made it literally painless procedure. Highly recommend.
