This was the worst experience we had in all the times we relocated. Rushing the packing in one day, over stuffing our goods in a small container and poor delivery and placement of goods in the wrong rooms. We also had several damaged items.

My contact, Jim Sullivan, made the original arrangements with me. He made certain delivery commitments for Nelson Westerberg. Subsequent to our agreement on the terms, Jim was let go. His replacement, Teanna Mazzara, wasn't customer service oriented like Jim. She did not respect the confusion Jim's departure made for me. Nor did she honor the delivery times for our shipment. Terrible experience with this company. Packing contractors they used were horrible - missing hardware, lots of broken items - specific packing asks and requests not honored. Ended up with huge dry cleaning bills because packers balled up clothing items and just threw into a box versus hanging in garment box. Also are missing pieces and hardware to tv stands and other items. Crating contractors on unpacking end of move showed up high and stinking of marijuana to our home to hook up washer/dryer and other items. One guy d... read more
Goods got delivered late. Would not consider delivering on my desired schedule. Little to no contact unless initiated by me, if I didn't ask I dont believe there would have been any follow-up. Benefits paid out late and unavailable at time when they could have served me best. The funds are supposed to help make move less stressful, how can they ease the move when access to funds is unavailable until after move complete.
Horrible customer service. Once they give you an estimate, they totally ignore you. When you attempt to contact them with a question or concern, they refuse to respond. Avoid these guys. There are other companies out there that won't treat you the way Nelson Westerberg treats you.

Worst experience of my life. A VIP move was what was paid for, but what was received was not even close. All furniture damaged and over 100 items missing. No communication or sense of urgency to fix or to find. I would never use again and should not be allowed to provide international or domestic services.
While working with the Nelson Westerberg employees themselves was a good experience, the movers they partner with should be fired. They had minimal regard for my belongings and upon unpacking I have found numerous items damaged or just haphazardly thrown into boxes, including a new couch. If using the company, be sure to watch the movers closely!

Physical move of goods went okay. Car move was a disaster. Overall far below expectations on communication.
