It was an absolutely terrible experience. The movers showed up 6 hours after the window, left my goods unwatched and open in the moving truck while there goods were locked in the front of the vehicle. Went missing for 45 mins at a time during the move ( only 2 movers stayed and assisted during the process) 6 photos were broken as well a mirror, cooler and luggage full of clothes was never delivered. Also, my vacuum was broken upon delivery
Belongings took a month to arrive. Only found out about delivery time hours before. No service over the weekend. Called during regular business hours and was repeatedly routed to voicemail boxes. Person in charge of my shipment went on vacation in the middle of my delivery window, didn't notify me, and didn't pass me off to anyone else on the team. Was told I'd receive communication and never did on multiple occasions.

Did not have responses to calls or emails. Had to follow up multiple times to get an answer. Pick up to drop off window was a month, took 26 days from the time pick up to the time it got to my new place.

This is in regards to my recent move from MD to PA for employment through Merck. My move id # 388486. I had particular problems with my driver Victor. He was trying to do a rush job. First, I was given a delivery time of 9-10 am and he reached at 12:30 pm. I had driven 3:30 hours to make it in time for the delivery at my new apartment, only to be left waiting for 2:30 hours. I have received very poor service at the start of my move with Norfolk Southern and as of today ( 7/24/2018) I cannot get anyone to return my phone calls so I can get the help I need and will have to request help through my company, I contacted The General Manager on Sunday on 7/22/2018 with no answer, I called today on 7/24/2018 and hopefully I can get some help. In a nutshell. Zero communication, extremely delayed. Victor Morales lied to win our business. We should of signed with another company. Dealing with all Nelson westerberg reps, they were all rude, clueless and unprofessional. We are missing boxes, missing parts to our beds of which they disassembled, damaged our furniture. Hated it our experience. Will always recommend to AVOID this company.
Several items have been broken including a hand painted table. Items that should have been wrapped in paper were not. Storage cabinets were tipped over and everything inside was a mess. Even my side table on my grill is bent. The packers were jokers as they wrapped one item in just tape. Unprofessional.

Took 24 days to deliver household goods. Missed delivery window and first scheduled Ppointment outside of delivery window.

Damage my washer and dryer, lost my ladder and other equipment, and have yet to follow up on where they are. This move was a mess!
