After two unsuccessful core vitrectomies I wouldn’t recommend this procedure for anymore, I still have floaters and now I see them in my central vision in artificial light not just natural light. The procedures also negatively affected my previously perfect near vision which sucks as this was a blessing. I also now have a cataract in one eye after only weeks after surgery not years like he said could happen. I wish that he would’ve discussed what really could happen in the short term and that I may still have floaters in my ... read more

Expectation management needs to be improved. You think something will be one way and then it is very different.

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your experience. I understand how scheduling challenges, unexpected dilation, and record access issues could be frustrating, and I am sorry parts of your visit felt unclear. I am only in the Hillcrest office two half days per month, which makes appointments there limited. I agree that expectations around dilation and records should be explained more clearly, and I appreciate your feedback.

The exam was rushed so there were some surprises after. Not accurate overall. Doesn’t explain anything that’s actually going on.

Waited 3.5-4 hrs for a 10 min visit. That is WAY too long.

Business response:

Hello, I am truly sorry you had such a long wait during your visit. That is not the experience I want for my patients. I would really like to understand what happened so we can make things better. Please feel free to contact our marketing manager by email at joviedo@rcsd.com with your name and appointment date. You can call him at 219.487.3992 as well if that's easier. That way we can look into it right away. Thank you for sharing your feedback. It really does help us improve.
