Waited 3.5-4 hrs for a 10 min visit. That is WAY too long.
Business response:
Hello, I am truly sorry you had such a long wait during your visit. That is not the experience I want for my patients. I would really like to understand what happened so we can make things better. Please feel free to contact our marketing manager by email at joviedo@rcsd.com with your name and appointment date. You can call him at 219.487.3992 as well if that's easier. That way we can look into it right away. Thank you for sharing your feedback. It really does help us improve.
Telehealth appointment ? I don't think so not unless the patient has expensive specialized equipment to take pictures of the eye and special room so that can be recorded on a camera over the internet. This is obviously a NO!- Eye must be dialated (hard to do that virtually)- Take pictures with special eye cameras (the camera is at the medical clinic)- Doctor examine eye with magnifying glass and specialized equipment (this is at the clinic)- Check eye pressure and eye chart (even if I had a pressure pen, I would not want to ... read more
The time I finally got to meet the doctor is almost 2 hours after my appointment time. For instance, my appointment was scheduled at 7:40 am, but I finally met doctor around 9:40. Because my baby's appointment was 9:30 am on the same day, I had to cancel my baby's appointment unfortunately. I didn't anticipate the long wait. I was referred by my Internal Medicine doctor after having a unsatisfactory experience with another eye specialist.
Only once have I had an appointment last less than an and a half. Today was two and a half hours I was in the office.
LIVE WITH YOUR FLOATERS! Surgery on my left eye went wrong. Left under a warm blanket, I woke up drenched in sweat. Not a good environment to be undergoing surgery. Then the prescriptions that I would need immediately afterward were not prescribed until day of surgery, when the pharmacy didn't have one in stock. Results were a swollen, eye that never regained it's clarity. Also, there's not a "chance" of developing cataracts, when it should have been explained 100% likelihood. Very disappointe
Business response:
I am so sorry to hear about your experience. Waking up drenched in sweat sounds terrible. I really want to thank you for the feedback. As a result, I created a detailed packet that explains our surgeries in detail including potential side effects. I am also including a prescription so patients can obtain drops prior. I wish I could make your experience better, but at least I can use your feedback to improve for future patients. Thank you again. Dr. London
