About this business

About Us In 1995, Sheri Fastenrath, DVM identified the need for an emergent care facility for owners and their pets in the Huntsville area. Unfortunately, there were not many overnight emergency options for medical treatment in the surrounding area. In response to that need, Dr. Fastenrath and other local veterinarians formed a committee to lay the plans for what would become the Animal Emergency Clinic of N AL. The response from the community was so overwhelming that many of the area veterinarians also came aboard ... read more

They were awesome! Our cat Max was acting weird and we were very worried and upset. They worked hard and were very nice! They figured out what was wrong and got our Max feeling better! I highly recommended them! :)

Business response:

Thank you, we are glad that we could make you and Max feel better.

The Dr was very nice, my cat had been attacked by a dog and I was very upset. I was told he needed surgery and would have to leave a $1000.00 deposit, I asked if she could just stabilize him for 5 hours when my vet opened. She was super nice and did this and sedated him for 230.00 I think. Took him to my vet early next morning and they kept him a week (he was a very sick baby) total cost there was $170.00 they said he would not have lived through surgery. So glad she stabilized him for me

I hope you never have to use their services, but if you do you will be in great hands! So caring and loving all the way to the end of our little dog's life.

Just came back from taking my roommate's bunny, Sebastian, to be seen for what turned out to be a really bad case of ear mites and Dr. Deborah Armes was the best. She has the most experience with rabbits and gave Sebastian the best care. His ears are clean and he is one happy bunny. Since we came home, he has not tried to scratch in his ears. If you have a rabbit that needs emergency care, make sure you ask to have Dr. Armes.

My cat was very sick & they jumped into action to find what was going on. They ended up doing surgery the same night & even went above & beyond by taking my cat with them after they closed where I could work. I would highly recommend this clinic.
