I have had many dogs over the years (currently have 5) and they have been cared for by every doctor at NMAH at some point. I always leave thankful for the compassionate care and time spent on my babies. I have never felt rushed or pressured into unnecessary treatment. The doctors are super smart and trustworthy. I’m grateful for the entire staff at North Meck.

We were not just impressed by the care and professionalism at this facility but genuinely touched by how much above and beyond they went. We had a very serious situation as we were traveling for the holidays. Kamryn went to great lengths to speak to the Drs on our behalf and Dr. James was willing to not only rearrange his schedule on short notice but spend countless hours with us trying to decide how to proceed. NMAH has cared for our families pets for decades. My mom’s pets and now my boys. I’ve had three schnauzers in their care for years. My boys have loved them, and not only are they passionate people who love and care for animals like their own, but they are kind and caring towards owners too. They are friendly and thorough, supportive and real. They cry with you, laugh with you and communicate clearly. We don’t go anywhere but here. We so appreciate what they do and what they represent.

My dog Sunny was a patient at North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital for several years. Over that time, she was seen by a number of their doctors and all of them were skilled, compassionate, caring, gentle, and loving. They always treated Sunny with respect, which is especially important to me. They saw her through everything from routine checkups to medical emergencies. When two large dogs attacked her a couple of years ago, they nursed her back to health from injuries that could have been debilitating or life threatening. ... read more

I can't say enough about NMEH. Having owned pets all of my life, I have seen my share of veterinarians. From the simplest of visits to the most complex that required emergency surgery on a Friday night, they have been there for us. Their prices are very reasonable. It just makes no sense to go anywhere else! My entire family is very loyal and appreciative to NMAH.

We have been using this hospital for a number of years. On Saturday July 6th, we brought my dog Biggie in to say our final goodbye's. I have owed and foster so many dogs in my lifetime and the end is never easy. I have never had a staff so sympathetic and attentive during this difficult time as we had that day. Dr Parker and his assistant (I'm so so sorry I don't remember your name) could not have been any warmer and caring.
