Awesome people!! The staff at North Meck Animal Hospital are great! They are very compassionate and knowledgeable! We highly recommend them!
Cannot say enough positive things about our treatment for an emergency on a Sunday morning. We were immediately seen, the problem was not a severe as we thought. The veterinarian ( Madison) was professional, personable, and extremely knowledgeable, she spent time with us and explained in detail what happened with our pet and what we would need to do to prolong his longevity moving forward. Needless to say they are now the only practice we will use.

I have had awful vet experiences in the past. One of which ended up killing my cat of 7 years "by accident" by giving him a drug that they knew he couldn't take due to an underlying heart condition. We first visited NMAH when our 13 year old Lab injured her foot on a Saturday earlier this spring. I was impressed from the first phone call - the receptionist I spoke with was calm and organized, telling me that she would get my dog's records from her primary vet, and describing the plan for when we arrived. I have no questions when I walk through those doors that the staff with take care of my doxie who is 17 now and my labradoodle Gus who is 4. We have had some big things come up for the "old dog" but Dr. Kritzinger has always been kind and fair. The patience and calmness in this building is very welcoming, You will have only a great experience.

My husband and I have used this clinic for our pet dogs for about 20 years. We are 100 percent confident in our vet dr James. He has shown time and time again to be very knowledgeable and compassionate. On occasion we have needed to seek care from one of his colleagues which have also been great. Dr James is the best!

I can't say enough about this place. My dog was diagnosed with diabetes and pancreatitis at another vet and was not much help with answers. I took him to Dr. K who provided excellent care and even provided his cell phone number for me to keep him updated on Eddie's progress while he was out of the state... unfortunately Eddies issues were worse than we expected and we made a decision that his quality of life was not what it should be. There is no better place to take your pet! Dr. Kritzinger and all of the team are the best in the business. Dr. Kritzinger truly cares for my pets (3 dogs, 1 cat) like they were his own and he has saved their lives multiple times with his excellent care. He caught issues ahead of time and was able to reverse terminal situations. My 19.5 year old cat owes his life to Dr.K and his close monitoring of his health and life-saving surgery. I needed a vet who had longer than normal hours. I needed a vet who would be thorough and compassionate. I needed a vet with boarding available. I found this combination at North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital. They are AMAZING!! My cat loves them! We must visit often due to a chronic condition and ongoing treatment.
