Like most hotels in NYC in very old buildings, there is a certain charm in the setting, nothing cookie-cutter or too modern. We seniors would have appreciated beds that were higher off the floor and softer, and a thermostat that actually worked. But it is in a wonderful walkable neighborhood with many great dining options and easy transportation options. Would stay there again.

Great place.
Will definitely choose the NU Hotel again when visiting the NYC area. It is conveniently located, with myriad restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Easy 20 minute walk to Dumbo, or in the other direction Clinton Hill. Room was clean, and cozy. With Expedia perks received a 1/2 bottle of wine, an upgrade to a king, and a late check-out.
