Very good! We enjoyed the dinner and the Birria pizza was delicious!
I went for the experience and that was decent. Guess not a lot of singular people go out to eat often because the first thing the server asked was I waiting on a to go order or eating dinner? Fair enough question but she knows their policy on to go orders and where those people should be waiting. There wasn’t a connection made between the server and I. Great drinks food and atmosphere. Service a little slow. Food came out before appetizers.
We were immediately sat and the hostess gave an inside spot instead of outside since it was cold! The chip and dip trip was great - guacamole was amazing! We go the valentines margarita tower which was also amazing. However, the birria pizza was NOT it. It was very cinnamon-y and the consome was awful .. I tasted like cinnamon and cilantro soup?? The vibe was great and our server was nice.
Some of the best Mexican food in the area. Very tasty food, friendly staff and delicious margaritas.
Everything was delicious. They were pretty busy and it was the first night of the new menu. Things took a lot longer to come out, but that’s understandable. Will still come back because there are many new items that look great. My husband had a carnitas taco salad and he said it was the best he’s ever had.
New ownership means subtle changes to the menu. They've made many positive changes in ambience. Last time we ate here I commented the food wasn't hot. This time it was delivered very hot - good improvement. The old Nueva made their own hot sauces (4) which were excellent. Now, there are only 2 and the only real hot sauce is green - yuck. Watch out for dwindling fixings - the cheese for the fajitas was barely enough to cover 1 fajita. Food is always great . The restaurant was decorated very festive for the holidays. Daniel was are server. He was very attentive , friendly and quick with service!!
It was a great experience. Food was amazing. Tasted well with great flavors. Our server was very friendly despite being swamped with more than 7 tables. Only critique I have is the food was somewhat cold when we got it, but I am overlooking that because of how busy it was when I ate there. Other than that, I would eat here again if I find myself in St. Petersburg.
