Started out good... I lived here about 4 years ago. When my husband and I first moved in, it was great. Relatively quiet, nice neighbors. Everything was good. Then we resigned our lease and the whole thing went downhill fast. A gang-related shooting occurred right outside of our apartment. Our neighbors started leaving their trash outside of our door. Awful Management DO NOT LIVE IN THIS SORRY PLACE. YOU WILL REGRET IT IMMEDIATELY. Worst complex I have ever lived at. They don’t properly repair issues and then charge you for everything they can think of. The pools are rarely in service and they never answer the phone. I wish I could give negative stars.

Most Honest And Accurate Review I Can Give Before moving in the quoted price couldn't be honored (missed it by a day) and rent was raised $60. Side note: less than 700 sq ft for 2 people is not enough space. There are marks all over the edges of the walls where the cocking is. The paint job is shoddy. Water leaks from a tube from over the tub that will create disgusting mildew all over. There is no light on the fan in the bedroom so we have to use lamps or the bathroom light. Can't wait to move out I've been here for 5 years and I can't wait to move out. My rent has gone up by nearly $150 a month since I've moved in, with nothing to show for it. I now pay a lot more to live in an old apartment. The grounds are only kept nice in the front of the complex where perspective tenants can see it. The other areas have lots of dead grass, bushes and trees. People leave their trash all over outside of pick-up times. The two recycling dumpsters (two! Too Much for Too Little I have been at this location for 1 1/2 yrs so far. At first I thought the price was decent. However, I quickly became very dissatisfied with my apartments. We have changed staff and management several times. They have let the grass die. My rent went up about $100 the first year, and if I stay will go up again. The grounds are not kept up as nice as they were when I first moved in. The have painted half of the property and then stopped, TBA when the rest will be completed. Friendly staff, awful maintenance Moved in 5 months ago, in that time, my building's foundation has proved unsteady, causing a water leak and most of the doors inside my apartment to stop closing and locking properly. Opened a ticket for my front door not locking, maintenance arrived promptly, stated "I don't know what to do. I come back in the morning" and left. One Unhappy Customer I have lived in Oak Forest for 2 years and I can't really say I would recommend it. First of all they seem to love raising rent prices by absurd amounts, thus why I am moving, and their maintenance staff couldn't care less about the tenants. I had a leak in my apartment last October and I reported it to the office staff immediately hoping it would be fixed, The maintenance staff didn't fix it until after Thanksgiving.
