They say they have craft and other activities like field trips, but I'm not sure she has had a single one. The majority of their patients have severe dementia and difficulty communicating. Our grandmother has dementia, but can still care for herself and communicate well. She just forgets what she talked about. There is a separate, assisted living type area in the front of the building and the people within that area had much nicer furnishings. We took my loved one out of this facility. I would tell anyone who is looking into Oaks at Conyers or who has a loved one in here that for the memory care units, any where you go, do pop up visits to ensure your loved one is being taking care of. They really need to improve on holding the employees accountable. People may have different experiences, but this was ours. The reviews when we were looking were good.

Consider this facility a pass. We were not pleased or impressed. The Facility was dirty. Staff seems uninterested and untrained.
Moved Mom here 3 years ago, it was wonderful, warm friendly, great activities. Staff was happy and caring. Not so any more. Current Executive Director [removed] has run it into the ground. Very bad morale among staff that has stayed, 96% of the good staff left. The staff begs family members to call the complaint line. Turns out that is not anonymous, they look up the number the call was made from, then send all the information including the recorded message to [removed].
