In my opinion, nobody is a 5. They've just had a turnover. And there are some good things and some bad, as with any place. The hallways are always clean, and it does not smell like urine like other places I've walked into. My loved ones have had some bugs, but they also drop crumbs on the floor, so that doesn't really count. The bathrooms have all been pretty clean. As far as care, we have to remind them of things sometimes. And laundry wasn't getting done at one point. They've also had mix-ups where Mom got somebody else's ... read more

Until this past year, my 95 year old mother had been living alone in her home of 58 years. After a mini stroke left her unable to drive, and declining health due to congestive heart failure made her house too much we made a move closer to me this past July. After a few months in another facility, we made the move to ELSL, and it has been the best decision we could have made. The director and staff are caring, competent, and friendly. This is a clean community that offers some nice outside sitting areas. The people we met were friendly. The community is clean and well taken care of. They seem to offer some nice amenities.
My loved one is doing great here, he really likes it. He has adjusted very well to it, and I'am pleased. They have a wonderful staff here, they have been very friendly. I know he is being cared for well here. He has gone on one of the outing outside the community. They do offer nice activities. The food is good, he enjoys the meals. I know he is safe and in a good place. I would recommend this community highly.
My mother has Dementia and we therefore moved her to Dogwood Forest of Stockbridge. It has been an adjustment for her, but she is getting used to being there. The community does meet her physical needs. If I didn't like it there or didn't trust them, or if I wasn't satisfied with the community at all, my mother would not be there.
We like Dogwood Forest of Stockbridge/Eagles Landing. Daddy is happy there. He has some friends there which helps. He actually has more visitors than when he lived at home. We are having trouble with helping with his ADL. One day he is on one shift and the next day is on another. There are just a few little things to straighten out. He has had a little problem with his foot. I didn't understand why they wouldn't do more care than they would. Visited this facility at 2 pm on 9/22/15. Great place. They are willing to work with us on a semi-privite room rate.
My mother has been here for 3 1/2 years and our family loves it! Everyone is SO FRIENDLY and HELPFUL!!! My mother is treated like a queen! I am so thankful we found Dogwood Forest at Eagles Landing! Couldn't ask for a better staff of people!
