Sometimes,being a haven from the weather is just what you need at an establishment, and everything else is a bonus. On a rainy Tuesday morning, my boyfriend and I struck out for Berlin from our hotel with $100 each in our pockets, figuring we'd play til we ran out of cash. Apparently, about 200 of our closest friends had the same idea ;) The place is small, but as we're not major gamblers, the size was actually perfect. This the first casino I have been to as an adult but I just expected more. The Casino is fairly new so it's all machines slots and virtual dealers. I didn't like playing black jack with a virtual dealer.... just didnt seem fair. I like the roulette table because they had a real ball that spun around so I felt I had an actual shot at winning. I went at night so I didn't get to see the race track but it looked pretty cool. Played all day on 100 bucks, lots of fun! Fun machines but full price drinks! Currently $10 free play and $10 when you come back the next day or in the future through October 30.

Great place for something different to do at the beach. My family has been coming here for years and now with gambling legal in Maryland it has certainly changed. The horse races are trotters. The jockeys ride in a cart behind the horse. The "starting gate" is just a white pick up truck with a retractable gate. The horses trot up to it and when everyone is lined up the truck hits the gas and gets out of the way. I would double check your ticket once you make your bet. We are totally amateurs at gambling but like to play once in a while. Took a friend who has asthma and was concerned about whether or not she could go in for fear of smoking. As it turns out this one is non smoking and that made us all happy. I do not have asthma however: I would not have stayed long if I had to sit in a lot of smoke. So...kudos to the non smoking casino!!!

Went here for the first time last night with my wifes grandfather and had alot of fun. They have alot of slot machine but thats about all they have. Food was really good even thou it was a lil pricey. Over all it was a pretty good experiance.

Our first time here, a little skeptical but we each won $200+ at electronic roulette. Drinks were good, small and laid back, will definitely return

I don't understand some of the negative reviews?? I've been several times & had a blast! The games were fun, the staff was curtious & helpful!i had so much fun that I chartered a bus trip to benefit Compassion Advocacy Network on May 28th! So I'm bringing 52 people back with me. Ocean Downs is a great couples/ girls day or family outting .
