My slice of Heaven I love my apartment complex, it's right by Lake Michigan, and I have the best view in the city. The manager always greets me with a big smile and cheerful hello. The grounds and building are well maintained and maintenance issues are handled promptly. Like I said Heaven !!!
Number 10 My balcony ; view of Chicago skyline , every room in my two bdrm apt have an amazing view of Chicago ,each rooom has its own personality,master bdrm ;the Queens room w / private bath ,2nd bdrm house my creative endeavours,which include,fabric art , outsider art,etc. the living dining area is a true reflection of my heritage,from art given to me by several artist,to thrift store finds and I must include my collection of dolls,they are all me,with outfits designed by Byron Lars,also my cute little kitchen house medal... read more
Oglesby Towers I love my apartment because of the beautiful view of the south side of the city, also it has a view of the lake. I live on the 22nd floor of the building. We have a beautiful gym on the 25th floor, that is complimentary to all residents. The building is very diverse, and has a door man 24 hours a day.Lastly, my apartment has hardwood floors! Need I say more?

This is a fantastic building with awesome views of the lake. If you are looking for a nice quiet high rise with a fantastic view of the lake that is a great value. This is it. This is truly a hidden gem in the southern part of Hyde Park. If it were located in dowtown Hyde Park the rent would be 3 times as much. You need to go a few blocks for shopping but living here is worth it. . Management staff are very personable and the building is kept immaculate.
Verified Renter I was okay there but I had problem with the location and the fridge that used lots of energy and also a lot of other residents didn't follow the policy of non-smoking. also some times I meet some addicted people in the tower who were other resident. finally the amount of rent was so high that based on the location it wasn't worth

Verified Renter Overall experience is that I am satisfied with where I reside, if I wasn't I wouldn't have remained here the number of years I've been here. I refuse to live where I'm mad or always complaining or beefing about situations I'd packup and leave but that's not my case, so I will stay here.
