Been coming here for car service for 25 years. It has had its ups and downs, but they've always done a good job. Trusted them with 7 of my cars. Thumbs up.
I don't let anyone else touch my car, not even the dealer. Brandon and his team are the absolute best. This used to be my "home" store, then I moved 3-hours away. I still schedule time to come here to service all three of my vehicles. That's how much I trust them.
I visited oil stop for an oil change. Being new to the area I didn't know where to go. The process here includes trying to up sell customers which I understand but they should not lie to accomplish the sale. I was told that if I didn't use synthetic oil the warranty would be voided on my 2014 Honda CR-V I checked my manual it says oil is preferred you may use synthetic if it meets specifications I would not recommend this store
What a scam. They try to sell you everything and the kitchen sink. You can get a $300 oil change on a brand new electric car here. If you don't buy the crap they are selling for extra they get mad. They once put expensive synthetic oil in my radiator. YES, my radiator! So I don't buy extras as its too confusing for them and things my car does not require. However, according to our records, this was the first time you have used Oilstop for your car's maintenance. Having serviced millions of cars since opening our business, we have never mistakenly put oil in a radiator. Are you certain it was Oilstop and not another business that did this? In addition, your invoice shows that we did indeed discount your service by $10.
I'm from the old, "dirty rag" school of oil changing. When I dropped in to OilStop, I was (1) Greeted friendlier than I would ever have suspected by what I formerly thought of as oil change "grease monkeys." (2) Then I looked around and saw the place was spotless! Caught me off guard big time. No grease on the floor, guys moving around in what seemed like 'boot camp' precision, yet with disarmingly friendly smiles. My car desperately needed to be serviced. My bf recommended the Oil Stop to me. I came in after 5pm today and was out in about 30 minutes. I was very pleased with the service. Tony and the rest of the crew have a great attitude. Love that they're not pushy and provide you with recommendations. I dislike going to the dealership and feel like I'm getting cheated at other places. There's no need to go anywhere else after my great experience here today. Too bad they dont do repairs. This place is awesome. I went in a couple days ago needing an oil change and new windshield wipers on my Suburu Tribeca. The mechanics were all extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. And they gave me hot apple cider while they worked :) Unfortunately, my car takes a weird size of windshield wipers that they did not have, but this is Suburu's fault not theirs and they were able to recommend another place in Ashland. I was visiting some family friends in Petaluma so I decided to get a car wash here because the location is conveniently located right off the freeway. I wanted to purchase the one time car wash however, the sales rep got really pushy with a promotion they had available, the promotion was $14.99 for the first month of unlimited car washes however he mentioned that the price doubles to $29.98 for the reminder of the membership with the new monthly dues being automatically deducted from my credit card on file.
