The sales department is not doing their job. Old republic keep on raising the rate every year by little bit, but this year is out of control. They raise the rate 38% more than last year and the trade call fee is even 25% more. Since these two property been with old republic for many year, so that's why i was thinking to call to their company to see if we can work the rate down. Shower handle broke off and water could not be shut off unless all the water in the house was shut off. Contractor assigned was *****'s Appliance and Plumbing. Slow and lazy. First person assigned called finally after I submitted another request for contact. Showed up on the 2nd day. Couldn't figure out how it happened but implied that it was foul play. I'm still waiting for a response regarding my dishwasher replacement. They asked for a clearer copy of my receipt and I haven't heard anything since.

First Contractor assigned was HVAC LLC. Slow, lazy, and incompetent. First person assigned came after 5 days after report, told us to turn on the blower and he would come back to see if coils had thawed. Didn't wait to see if blower came on....said there is a time delay. Never came on, another guy came next afternoon (Friday) and diagnosed it as a blown blower. Said he would order and if delivered on Saturday would come and install. Never got a weekend call with temps nearing 100 degrees. Called HVAC Monday morning Day 8 to ... read more

Last year, I had 2 service calls...both were excellent with great coverage from ORHP and very professional contractors. So I "have" good plumber/electrician....and "HAD" good pool equipment repair service---HAD!When a similar problem arose, I called in ORHP and was arbitrarily assigned a "ghost" service dude who DOES NOT HAVE ****** REVIEWS!!!! I have been a customer of Old ********************** Home ****************** for many years. I have 3 properties that this company covers. We have had a problem with one of our home trading fees since March of this year. Every single month I have been calling to fix the same problem over and over again. I have had to utilize this warranty three times this year for various services and two of the experiences have been negative. After making multiple appointments with assigned contractors, either they do not show up or come multiple hours after the given appointment window. At this point I have had to be displaced from my home numerous days and have the health of myself and my toddler jeopardized unnecessarily. Sent a contractor into my home to fix AC. They were going to clear out main drain lines as they were clogged. They blew too much pressure into pipes and burst the pipe above my kitchen sending water through my kitchen ceiling. The contractor said he would contact Old Republic on how to proceed. They denied coverage because the pipe was now not accessible. They told me to work it out with contractor and they did not want to accept it either.
