POOR CUSTOMER WARRANTY SERVICE - The new Weather Shield patio door I purchased 7 years ago (2017), now has a bulge in the vinyl frame corner of the sidelight, has a mullion cover strip over the jump studs that has come loose, and the vinyl has faded such that the doors look like they are 14 years old rather than 7 years. Omaha Door and Window agrees with our customer regarding the warping and discoloration of his Weather Shield vinyl patio door. We have sent numerous pictures following up with phone calls to the manufacturer. Weather Shield claims that the patio door problems are normal wear and tear and will not honor their warranty even though the warranty covers warping after seven years’ time.
