When I placed my first order with Omaha Steaks I was enticed by the shipping promise. After I placed the order they notified me and changed the shipping date by nearly 5 days!. So I canceled the order. They sent me a special coupon to repurchase. Which I did. And again they sent and changed the shipping date. I placed my order December 18th. Placed an order using a debit card (gift card) on 12/19. Received an immediate confirmation email stating delivery would be 12/27. Received another email 12/22 saying the shipment date changed & new estimated delivery date was 12/30. 12/26 received ANOTHER email saying there was a payment error. Called them immediately about 9:30 am that day & had a > 100 minute wait. Offered to call back & they did about 1:10 pm. Got hung up on once during the call & ******** eventually called back. I ordered a Christmas gift on December 15 was told it would be delivered on the 17. Then got a message that it was delayed until the 26. It still hasn’t been delivered and I have reached out to them several times with no response at all. Have stayed on hold over an hour and still haven’t talked to anyone. I will not be ordering from them again.

I had a total of 7 orders 3 of the 7 were never received. Omaha had to replace the 3 orders. After 8 days I received the missing 3 orders they were all warm and thawed. This was 3 separate orders

I placed an order on December 13, 2025 to be sent to my brother for Christmas. It was scheduled to be there by December 23, 2025. Received an email today informing me that it would not arrive until January 6, 2026. Receiving a Christmas gift after Christmas is not acceptable. I now have to go out after work and find a gift by tomorrow. This was the first time trying Omaha Steaks. I canceled my order and will never do business with them again!

Actually, how about ZERO stars! Placed an order for two packages. Supposed to arrive on 12/18. One was finally delivered on 12/20. The other hasn't even shipped yet. Tracking says FedX is awaiting package from Omaha. Emails to customer service have gone unanswered. I see others have called to inquire status of their orders, but experienced long hold times, then get disconnected. Never ordering from them again!!

I purchased a total of 5 gift packages ranging in price from $89.00 to $159.00 this year for loved ones as gifts. All of the orders went well initially. However, a $159.00 package was delivered to the incorrect address. I called customer service within minutes of receiving the delivery picture (not the doorstep of the recipient) to inform them and figure out how to rectify this. First order wasn’t shipped so I was to receive a second order, which I assumed would contain the package I paid for. The second box arrived on time but it had items I didn’t order (substitutions?) and was missing an item. It would have been nice to be notified if they didn’t have the items I wanted so I could cancel my order. I won’t order from them again. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. I have to say the lady I talked to regarding the missing first order was very nice.
