This is our second time dining at Osteria Panevino. Both times were amazing. The service was fantastic. They really excel at making you feel welcome. They food was as great as the service. The calamari was tender and tasty. The meatballs and pasta were delicious. Two of us had the lobster ravioli with a half lobster tail on top and it too was amazing. Can’t say enough great things about this wonderful restaurant other than it should be on everyone’s list of must places to dine

Food and service was very good. We had a larger party and all the entrees were nice portions and nice looking.
The food and service were fantastic. This is our go-to place whenever we attend a concert at the Balboa Theater or the Civic Theater. We usually eat outside on the patio. However, the noise from the adjacent restaurants was so loud that I would no longer recommend sitting outside. We couldn't hear each other talk. So nothing against the restaurant, but the neighboring restaurants are party places. We were there at 5 pm on a Sunday, so I'll assume it's worse at other times. Wait staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, large portions.
We had a wonderful 30th wedding anniversary dinner at Osteria Panevino! The Gnocchi was divine and perfectly cooked. My husband had the Bolognese and savored every bite. We started with INSALATA DI STAGIONE - fresh, fresh, fresh! Like eating right out of the garden. We recently brought a customer for dinner. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t ideal for a business meal. The restaurant had two very large parties that evening, and the noise level was so high that we could barely carry on a conversation at our table. It took quite a long time just to receive menus, as the servers were clearly overwhelmed by the larger groups and we felt like they forgot about us. We had to request menus.
