Still the best restaurant downtown in our opinion. Exceptional service, great food, good value. They've opened up 5th Avenue to traffic, so it's a bit noisier when dining outside, but not too bad. The restaurant is fantastic despite being around some really loud obnoxious bars and hawkers on the way there. However, once inside or on the porch, you will have a fantastic experience. We will continue to eat here prior to concerts and shows at the Balboa and Civic Theaters.

last night my boyfriend and i the most amazing time at panevino with our server gioia! she was super attentive and always making sure we were happy and the little things were perfect. we decided to sit outside on the street which gave such an italian vibe (there were some homeless walking around which is inevitable). we started off with the stuffed mushrooms and THE BEST BREAD EVER! we also decided to split the lasanga and gnocchi which both were excellent and very filling. definitely will be back!

I just had the most amazing dinner experience here with my best friend. We came in for an early dinner to celebrate the start of summer. I ordered the penne al cinghiale, and she got the pizza diavola. Both were so amazing. I was just in Florence this past month, and I felt like I had never left. The servers were all Italian, they played mixes of classic and newer Italian songs, and the food was very authentic. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is great! I came here for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner and everything was amazing. Our server was very funny and tentative, the pastas were delicious, and we ate on the patio which has such a fun and cozy vibe. I will definitely be coming back here.

Dinner tonight was delicious! We sat at the best table inside the restaurant just inside the window, so the noise level was perfect for a good conversation. Goioa, from Italy, was such a friendly and lovely server. Made us feel like we were having an authentic Italian meal. The homemade pasta was incredible and the sauces were all so light. We will definitely return.

Easily one of the best Italian meals I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, you feel like you’ve stepped into a little corner of Italy. All the servers are actually from Italy, which makes it feel super authentic, and they bring a fun and welcoming energy to the whole experience. Amazing food, great vibe. Definitely coming back!

I had requested a table in the corner and they made sure I had everything I needed. Gioia was my sever and she was so pleasant and welcoming. She recommended great food and wine and we had a great time. She even had the bartender make special lemonades for our sons which really made us feel at home. Overall a great time/experience and will be back for sure.

What a cute little spot!! We had amazing food and even better service from Francesco!! I absolutely loved the short rib special and the chicken parmigiana. I highly highly recommend checking out this place!!
