The waiters and waitress always remember us, so it’s like family when we go back. Very friendly, very accommodating with authentic Italian food dishes. Presentation is always top notch! It was a wonderful meal and the service was excellent!
We had a lovely evening. We ordered off the Restaurant Week menu, bruchetta, sea bass, limonchello cake and tiramisu. The bruchetta was good but the portion was very large. Not a fault , but I couldn't eas it all. The sea bass with lobster bisque and risotto was fantastic. Totally cleaned the plate. The desserts were tasty as well. We did the wine paring and it was wonderful. Lovely wines and a limonchello at the end. Great service, wonderful atmosphere, all around great time.
Tried Osteria Panevino before a Broadway performance. Our waitress was very nice and worked with us to get our order in without having to rush to make our show. The food was good, not great. My chicken parm was a little dry but my salad with greens, pears, corn and a very good blood orange vinegarette dressing was delicious. Osteria is by far the best Italian Restaurant I have had the pleasure of dining at (twice). Homemade pasta...the Lobster Ravioli was to die for... great selection of wine and authentic Italian servers.
Every time I am in San Diego I go to this restaurant. Everything is simply delicious
