The food was amazing! Bravo to the Chef!!!!!! Everyone in the restaurant was Italian, and that's a good sign. Haven't had such great Italian food since I visited Italy a few years ago.

Came here with a friend for restaurant week. As expected, the food was great. That being said, there was a huge party of like 15 people sat right in the middle of the restaurant and they were having a good time. A very noisy good time. My husband and I had a wonderful meal here on our last night in San Diego. Delicious food and wine, great ambiance. The server did forget to put in our calamari appetizer order but bought us cheesecake instead.
We went for lunch and were not disappointed in anything. Would definitely go back

We were from out of town and came here with a party of eight to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food everyone had was amazing and the portions were plentiful. I had the veal shank and it was delicious and enough to share around the table. I would totally come back here the next time we visit.
This was a great find in the Gaslamp Quarter. We booked with OpenTable, then walked over from our hotel. While we were waiting for our table they turned away about 10 other parties that didn't have reservations. Food was delicious and well priced. The wait staff was very good, but the hostesses at the front did a poor job at sharing where the other two locations were to the diners they were turning away.
This was a wonderful experience from the Tuscan ambiance and friendly service to the fabulous food! Definitely a delicious piece of Italy in the Gaslamp Quarter! We will be back to enjoy this excellent Osteria again.
