The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.
We went here for Christmas Day dinner and it was simply amazing. Stefano took great care of us including my 6 year old picky eater. I would recommend reservations because this place was buzzing. Easy to see why with the great food, location, and service.
We were seated on the patio area. It was a cool evening, but with the heaters it was very pleasant. I had the parperdelle and my husband has the pork loin. Both were outstanding. Service was attentive. I would recommend this to any who like italian food.
Great find; it was a first time visit for us. Ambiance, food, service all were excellent. Old World charm and Italian food like it should be. We'll be back soon.
We were looking for an Italian Restaurant in San Diego and tried Osteria Panevino on a whim. So glad that we did. The food was outstanding, service was impeccable, and the restaurant had a nice feel. I'll definitely be back!!!!
Enthusiastic wait staff very knowledgeable with menu. Fresh ingredients that were pleasing to the palate. attentive to refilling your water and wine glasses. Tables are a bit close together. Overall a great dining spot.
I have been going to Osteria Panevino for many years. It is by far the best Italian restaurant in San Diego based on food alone. Plus the service and atmosphere are superb. And, if you sit outside, you have great people-watching. One of the newer entres on their menu is the seared ahi on a bed of spinach and lobster mashed potatoes. Try it - you'll order it every time!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was so good that we wished we had more time to eat there again!
