Panevino handled our group of 12 gracefully and attentively. Nearly all the dishes pleased the eaters and the breadth of the menu was quite welcome.

Food was good. Felt a little rushed because of people waiting. Owner had a large party at a table close by and kept taking chairs and putting them back. It was like they were having a private party and we were in the way.

A girlfriend and I stopped by to have a glass of wine and appetizers before heading out for the evening. We each had a glass (reasonably priced for the selections), and shared the stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta. Each I would highly recommend and would eat again. We showed up around 9:45 PM, so there were only about 5 parties in the entire place - most on the patio. I look forward to going back and trying the full menu!

I ordered my usual $36 ossobuco Milanese, a veal shank slowly braised with red wine and diced vegetables and served over a bed of saffron risotto. Did I say I love risotto? The ossobuco was as... read more

Me and my family went there on a Saturday. They set us right away. The food was really good. The price was reasonable. Will go there again if in San Deigo.

Very nice setting in Gaslamp, but remarkably mediocre food. Not on dish was memorable or had flavor. Service from Giovanni was exceptional, which made our evening go well. I want to recommend this restaurant, but they need to improve their food dramatically.
