The FourSquare comments said the service was poor but I had a fabulous time. Place was busy and the staff was circulating. Food was outstanding and I would go back in a minute.
Food was very fresh and excellently prepared. Had the fried calamari appetizer and was perfectly prepared! Then between the three of us we ordered the fettuccini with swordfish, crab and lobster ravioli, and gnocchi. All excellent! Would definitely come back!
Always excellent; I never miss dining here when I'm in San Diego. Extensive and varied menu; it's hard to choose. Food and service are consistently outstanding. It's also a pretty restaurant. My favorites are the Pappardelle with Ragu and the Rigatoni Carbonara. The wine list has good selections in moderate price ranges. I can't find a negative thing to say!
This is simply the very best restaurant in the gaslamp. Best food, best service, best gaslamp location, best everything. Order the Ahi, it is heavenly. I have been going there for 15 years, I have had most of their menu, all is exceptionally great. Their homemade pasta is to die for.
Osteria Panevino is a great little Italian Restaurant in the heart of the Gaslamp district with excellent food and many choices on the menu. There is also a large wine list. Make reservations ahead of time. The place was full on a Friday evening at 6 PM. Our group of 8 people thoroughly enjoyed the food and service.
Pleased with attentive service and delicious food (veal parm, lamb ravioli in mushroom sauce). Wine & food prices on the high side, but still a good value given the quality of food and service.

Food was wonderful. Pizza was outstanding. Pasta was fresh and service was attentitive but not over bearing. Get the gelato if your still hungry was very good as well. Would definitely return
