So, I toured this boarding facility because of the wonderful reviews online. The staff seemed really wonderful, as mentioned, and I loved that someone lives right on the grounds to be available at any given time. However, I was really concerned about the play area being outdoors and un-shoveled (left snowy) even in the cold. I also disliked the area of the boarding facility that looked like an old school animal shelter in a concrete hall with a big heat lamp overhead and chain link doors. First of all, my experience is about a rabbit, and I just wanted to leave my feedback for any other rabbit owners because I know just how hard it is to find a vet who not only doesn't shy away from these sensitive little souls, but to find one who actually knows what they're doing(!). I have to say, I am always concerned when I see 1 star reviews for a place I love, and I always know that it's possible for a place to have a decline in service, but I have to say, that just hasn't been my experience at Overland. And I have a LONG run of experience coming to this clinic. I'm not sure of the exact year, but I believe it was around 2000 when I started bringing my dogs here for care. Attentive and caring. They took good care of my older dog who had mutiple health issues rooming him in a special area when we had to board him. Very thorough with medications and food during boarding. Highly recommend the vets there for their gentle approach, prompt response to telephone queries and follow ups. Very happy with this place. Staff were all great! My 8 week old kitten got his 1st set of shots there. I shopped around for quality and price and this was by far the best deal for an attentive staff who actually took the time to access my baby boy. I would highly recommend this place!

Great vet. Maybe it's because I came from a state with high vet prices, but this place seems cheap to me, and the care is great. The vet that sees my pet (Dr. Palgrave) is awesome, gentle with my pooch, and is very genuine. I have no doubt that my dog is in good care with Dr. Palgrave and the staff. Often they can see me same day or next day if I am concerned about something. I take my dog here quite a bit for boarding services. He is a difficult dog (he can be anxious and people aggressive on first meetings), but the staff at Overland always welcome us back and insist that he is well behaved during his stay. They implemented an online check in process that I thought was really helpful but my first experience with it was not so great. Brought my dog here for boarding for the first time and was a little nervous about whether my dog would like it - apparently she was so excited she didn't even notice when we parted ways. They give you the option of letting your dog join in group play or if they don't get along with other dogs some individual play. They're well set up to handle any special needs your pet may have and the staff were very helpful. Take a tour if you're unsure of what type of room to get. Update! Ive had a lot more interaction with Overland and we love them even more! Our dog had to get his teeth cleaned and a tooth pulled due to a pretty bad cavity. They quoted us between $400 and $700 I believe because they said once he was under and could do the xrays there could be more that needed to be done. We got a call during his procedure that he needed to have not one, but SEVEN teeth pulled! We felt so badly for him, but they assured us that he would be fine and that they still wouldnt go over their original ... read more
