The people at Overland were so kind as to call me on Sunday to let me know they were closing and wouldn't I like to pick up Tucker? I had thought they were closed! I zoomed over and my baby dog was so happy to see me and me to see him. They keep our dog happy, safe and are very caring towards the owners as well. Five stars!
I really love this place. All of the staff are very pleasant and friendly. The techs really seem like they love my dogs as much as I do. Boarding: Last year I was looking for a place to board my two adult pekingese dogs. I had never boarded my dogs before and was very nervous about it. I did a lot of research. We were visiting Denver and was there for 4 days. I found this place on Yelp and trusted the reviews to give it a try. I purchased the Yelp deal, which is worth every penny. We took our pup in for 2-days of daycare and fun $7 training. The first day, we received some photos of our pup and a report. I have never boarded our dog before and was pretty hesitant about leaving her in a kennel, as usually my husband and I always leave her with family. I was encouraged by the outstanding reviews and the fact that they took her extremely last minute on a holiday weekend, and I did a walk-in kennel tour with one of the kennel staff that day. I recently moved to Denver and was semi-panicked about leaving my dog somewhere new. I was very hesitant to board Charlie for the full week I had to be out of town, but Overland was amazing! They took great care of him & gave actual feedback on how he behaved around other dogs and how he interacted during playtime and with the staff, etc. I will definitely be taking him back when/if I have to leave town! Love this place. I've used both their vet and boarding services, and have been very pleased with the services each time. When my dog was injured after a hike they managed to get me in the same day, and spent over an hour with us trying to figure out what the problem was. They also were willing to work with me on the price when I said that finances were a concern. I have dealt with Dr.Friedlander and Dr.McVicker and they are both compassionate, professional and dealt with all my questions with patience. I really appreciated the time they took to explain everything to me and the time they took with my pets. The facility is state of the art and very clean. The front desk is punctual and friendly, which is very important. Kennel staff are knowledgeable and dedicated to their jobs. Overall, Overland is a fantastic facility that I would not hesitate to recommend to others.
Overland is a wonderful establishment. Anyone who needs to leave town and find a sitter for their dog should give this place a shot. The webcam service is comforting, but I didn't personally need it because I trust the people handling my pup. They also give you a personal behavior report after each visit which made me feel like they actually paid attention to my dogs well being. I did some research and found that this vet was rated very highly on a few sites and it was extra convenient because of the close proximity to my house. I took my dog there where they were very kind to her and told me that my dog was a good girl (always good to hear!) and they took very extensive notes, even the things I mentioned casually.
