I started off working with one of Ben's team members. Everything seemed to be going well until I kept being passed off to multiple people whenever I had questions or needed to give paperwork. The whole experience from beginning to end was bad. Questions that should’ve been asked in the beginning didn’t get asked till over half way through the buying process cause a mess and a rush to complete things. His communication is horrific. We didn’t talk to him at all the last week of closing only to get surprised at closing by things that didn’t make since because they weren’t explained to us at all.
Tyler honestly was the worst at communicating. He would have his assistant send complicated emails without any explanations. He sat on some of my documents till the last minute. I almost didn't close on time and I ended up paying twice what he quoted in closing costs. Would not wish anyone the pain and headacke I had to endure with him.
Closing process took longer than expected due to an mishap… The team is knowledgeable and competent but if you’re a first time homeowner and don’t know exactly what to ask or what to look for, you may have issues. Otherwise not horrible experience.

Worst experience I could have imagined while buying first house. Very poor at answering texts and calls. Closing date was pushed back multiple times (a week in total) due to Rob not preparing properly for the loan request. Once Mr. Kersey was engaged he charted a path to completion. Mr. Kersey is only limited by the archaic practices of OVM. OVM has pockets of excellence occluded by chasms of incompetence. BRAVO ZULU Mr. Kersey!!
Throughout the two month process if I spoke to Mr. Myles twice that was a lot. Not only did he not communicate clearly and effectively, especially since we were new to the home buying process, I’m my opinion he didn’t do his job efficiently. It felt like he was nonchalant when it came to getting back to us when we needed clarity on certain issues that arose. Our paperwork wasn’t presented properly to the underwriter which ultimately lead to a sabotaged deal.
