I'm not sure how he has so many positive reviews. He's disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. In the middle of my appointment he left the dental hygienist to hold my lip for 20 minutes while he took a phone call. He has yelled at his staff on more than one occasion in front of patients. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. I am currently looking for a new one.
While the dental receptionists are kind and professional, Dr. Chaaban treats them without any dignity or respect publicly. When he is not yelling at them, you can hear him yelling at patients at the back. He does not create a safe or honest space in his clinic and I would not recommend him to anyone.
Definitely will never come back. I brought my mom, so we can both ask for a receipt stating that I will not be charged for a tooth that they made a mistake on and didn't fill my cavity all the way. (I brought my mom because they wouldn't give me anything at first.) The dentist said we we're "insulting" him and his office all because we wanted something in writing, stating that they will not charge me. He is so rough and not kind or gentle whatsoever. I can not understand where all the "5" come from for this dentist. Since he purchased Oxford Dental, I have been trusting enough to go there hoping "things would change". However, I will no longer book appointments with Dr. Chaaban. He is extremely rude to all his staff. Discusses personal issues in front of patients. Was great at the first apt with my kid. Second apt there was no/ next to no communication between him and staff. When there was he was rude and short. A staff member had tears streaming down her face, through her make up. Not a professional or kind to his staff
Dr.cha baan is my kids dentist. He is stern and informed my son with action as he was doing the treatments. However, he did not leave the numbing gel on long enough before he gave the needle to freeze. His assistant said that the gel barely works so it didn't really matter. Unprofessional, rude and very rough. Was complaining to his assistant the whole time he did my root canal about other patients. Another patient had brought in a lawyer to sue him just the day before... I don't blame them. He didn't care about me one bit, never told me what he's about to do and he continually put intense pressure on my mouth with no concern for my wellbeing at all. He was even swearing in ARABIC while working on me. He thought I didn't understand. I'm surprised he hasn't been closed down yet.
Doesn't double check with your benefits before doing the work! Then your stuck with big bill
Negative attitude, the staff look terrified to work there. Services seem fishy why is no one looking into him? Will never go back.
