Ive submitted a rental application on December 22nd with Pacific Oaks Residential. I have not received any type of notification back from them I keep calling for the operator to inform me that the application department doesnt have a contact besides email Ive sent several emails with no response and I cant request my application fee back very unsatisfied

Unfortunately we have has difficulty locating this consumer due to the name used to apply being "*****************************" with an email address of ***************************** both of which do not match the complaint. Although it is our policy that application fees are non-refundable, we will make an exception here due to the confusion.
Me and my husband saw this house in zillow. Went to view it. Saw some things needs to be fixed even a dead cat on the lawn. Still Loved the house went on applied payed 2 fees of $49.00. Sent email with both me and my husband documents. We make way over the required income and no blemish on our records. We got 1 background check from them for my husband which had nothing on it that could deny us. We have applied other places and got approved so we know we ok.. Bad too rent from started off as ***************** then pacific oak residential got the rent paid up **** near a yr kinda left me with no choice but to stay mean while the property manager **** talk to me like shit! Never Ever Ever will I ever try to go through this company again !!!! Absolutely deplorable communication with applicants after going to a showing of a house and then applying three weeks went by with no emails or calls whatsoever. All communication stopped after they received our money!! Just made up a reason to deny my application said I had stuff that wasn't paid off which was and that because we are relocating that it was to risky people do relocate for jobs .......

Unfortunately not all applicant's are eligible to rent our homes. Pacific Oak does not "make up" reasons for adverse action. We recommend that the customer contact the credit agencies if the information provided is incorrect.
Went to view the property, completed an application, paid the application fee did not hear anything for almost three weeks. Then spoke with ***** only to be told that the property had been leased. Why would you allow us to view the property knowing that it had an application pending. Then stated she did not know if I was approved. I told her all of my personal information needs to be disposed properly. Nothing but a scam of a company. No telling who else paid the 49 dollar application fee.
SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT REPLY. THEY ARE JUST A AWNSERING SERVICE NO REAL PEOPLE TO TALK TO AND YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT HAPPEN TO YOUR MONEY

Many businesses rely on automation for fulfill customer inquiries. We apologize that you had a negative experience and have submitted a refund of your application fee, which usually takes 5-7 days to process.
Horrible company to try and rent from. All they do is take your application fee and thats it. They take the $49 and say nothing to you after. Allow you to tour homes and shortly after it will be taken off the market. I put in an application and I know I qualify and have heard nothing from the company since. Absolute waste of time and money. Horrible company with no real remorse. The one star is so that I can even leave this review. Rent elsewhere! I wish I would of known ahead of time. A total inconvenience to say the least.
Went to look at a home. Put in an application around 1pm. By 5 pm received an email stating the property had already been taken of the market. I couldnt believe it. Completely felt scammed out of the 100 bucks we had to pay for this stupid application fee. Cant talk to anyone in the application **** because they are email only apparently. Tried multiple times to speak with someone and never even got an email back. Complete waste of money and time.
