We took a tour led by [name removed]. The moment I walked in I felt welcomed and loved the atmosphere. We were interested in the Studio room and there were two available. The amenities that are included in the price were incredible.
From our only negative experience with Pacifica, my recommendation to all assisted living community administrators and potential residents... be sure they have an emergency plan in place to follow in the event of any power outages with immediate welfare checks to all residents just in case anyone suffered an injury as a result. My mother needed to use the restroom while the power was out and the room was completely dark. She became disoriented and fell. My mom has been at Pacifica Chino Hills since November 2023 and our family and my mom are very happy. It has been a great experience there! They have a nurse on staff and she is awesome. She is the memory care director. She is warm, friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I sleep well at night knowing my mom is in good hands. They have family activities which happen almost monthly. You feel connected and welcome. They allow you to visit anytime you want.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. They also learn what each resident needs are. And they communicate well with family members at home on what is going on with their loved ones. Room size is appropriate for one or two people to live in. Amenities are very nice and well kept. Plus they have lots of activities for the residents to do if they wish.
I am completely happy with this facility. It is clean and well run. Although, my mom is very disappointed with the food lately. It was good at the beginning, but for a while now - they must've gotten new cooks - she says it comes out cold and tasteless and she's rarely happy with it. The staff is kind, helpful and friendly. Comfortable and happy at this community.
The food, the courtesy and everything was excellent, above and beyond. I enjoy my association with the people and staff. I would recommend this place to anyone. I can't stay away since my sister has been here.
I have been here 10 years. All staff are wonderful. Everything is always neat and clean. Residents are very sweet! Lots of fun activities.
