Beautiful facility on beautiful grounds. The facility is clean, very roomy, with many activities available to the residents. Shannon was exceptional: clear, patient, professional, and welcoming. The studio our friend will live in, while not large, has a window, view, lots of light, and has a private bathroom.

Oakland Heights is a hidden gem in Oakland,CA. They provide assisted care for seniors and the staff is great.

A place for Mom really opened up our eyes to other options that were out there. We couldn't be more happy with where our mom ended up. It was a great find at a very reasonable price. We greatly appreciate all the help from a place for Mom. I would recommend your service to other people. I recently toured Oakland Heights Senior Living while exploring memory care options for my mom. Overall, I had a very positive experience. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. One of the highlights for me was the spacious, open patio area dedicated to the memory care residents. It felt secure while still providing a pleasant outdoor space where residents could enjoy fresh air and move around comfortably. Friendly staff, pretty surroundings. The studio was very comfortable and sunny. Cleaning and laundry are done once a week, but it took a while to get on a regular schedule, and was not always done because they were short staffed. The food was good and service was fine.
