just now NEW Palisade legal group is an absolute scam!!!! They promise you that your debt will be paid off within 3 years! They scammed me out of $1,800. Ive paid this company $1800 and they paid one creditor $125. And told me they had a monthly $10 fee for their company and when i asked for a cancellation and my money back that was left to pay the creditor myself. They stated they were keeping my money for fees and obligations that i signed contracts for. My account was started in January 2023. FYI, I only opened this account to get a lower debt payoff (which Palisade promised they could get). I had the $11k in hand to pay off then and there but was hoping for something lower. They told me my account balance was something that it wasnt after all the paperwork was signed, didnt contact me for 9 months. Every time I called, they said they were negotiating. I felt like I was tricked. I thought it would be great to have all of my debt consolidated and paid for a lower amount with not much of anything else but then after almost 4 months, I’ve had major hits to my credit score, my payment history has gone way down and none of my creditors have been paid yet. It’s not right at all whatsoever to have to wait for my account statuses to be out of good standing and for a certain amount of money to be collected from me before the creditors get paid. I would give no stars if I could. First off, this place took $828.00 from me. They said that they would contact my creditors for me. I was also told that I should change all phone numbers to theirs. I was told i could cancel at any time. All true, accept the contacting of my creditors. I signed up for this in September 2022. I have made four payments to Palisades legal group so far. Nothing has been done, except ruining my credit score be on a man's in a ball where I could've taken care of this myself. They have not made any payments to my to creditors that they're supposed to be helping me with. They told me to not make any payments and so now I'm delinquent in my credit scores been tarnished severely because of this. When I initially signed up with this company, like they say on BBB, the customer was fully informed, I find that to be very untruthful. I was not informed they charge a percentage on all accounts settled, based on the original debt amount; not the based on the amount they save you (as should be). I have made numerous attempts to get several issues resolved, with no resolution.It seems that when you ask for your issue to be escalated and for a call back from someone who can help, they tell you they will have someone call you ... read more
