They charge enormous "performance fees" and take all the money up-front. Im requesting a refund from the Palisades Group They totally misled me and it really misled me and really messed up my credit. They said it would take 3 to 4 months to resolve my cases. I managed to do it in 10 minutes for nothing theyve collected $1800 for me approximately claim to have settled one case one payment of $25 and they only want to give me $12. Like many individuals, I got into a lousy debt situation due to a separation and was in over my financial head. I was contacted by Palisade Legal Group, PLLC (Silver Lake on the mailing) and they informed me that they worked with the government to consolidate debt for people like me. They determined "manageable" payments (which were less than the monthly payments I was trying to make) and stated specifically that this would keep me from legal issues such as judgments being filed. So far, my experience with this company has been terrible. I just sent out an email to my representative because I want to cancel my contract with them. Their communication is terrible. When they call, they leave a (949) area code number that goes directly to voicemail when I call back.I am hoping to cancel this contract fairly soon and move on to *****************. Save time and money and read reviews before you contact a debt consolidation company.

Warning: do not do business with this company - no one is on the same page. I went to them for a consolidation over a year ago and only settled one account, which cost me 27.5%, Which was taken out of escrow immediately, leaving no money to settle the other account. Then they have the nerve at first telling you to pay xxx per month to escrow, and that is all that would be needed to work with creditors; well, that is not the case. This company is nothing but a rip off. After paying over 4K, creditors were paid less than $300. Do not use this company!
